This program builds upon the knowledge and skills students acquired in the Associate Certificate in Foundations in Occupational Health and Safety program. This Associate Certificate meets the educational requirements of the National Canadian Registered Safety Technician certification Certificate in Advanced Safety Management The Associate Certificate in Foundations in Occupational Health and Safety program will provide the knowledge and skills needed for graduates to obtain an entry level safety position. Graduates of BCIT Occupational Health & Safety programs are sought out by many employers for their reliable BCIT education.īCIT offers both a full-time two year Diploma program in OHS and a Flexible Learning distance/online option at the Associate Certificate and Certificate level. This experience does not need to be in safety. Have three to five years or more of work experience.
